I am new to this forum as well as new to the discovery of phenols, salicylates, sulphates, etc. I have so many questions.....especially about foods high in phenols. My 6 year old grandson is Aspergers and I am determined to help him in anyway that I can. I have seen major improvement in his meltdowns since we have been lowering his phenol intake. It's like a miracle! Yet we still have a long way to go. I want to make him different desserts. Can anyone please tell me if tapioca is high or low in phenols. I can't seem to find answers on the net.

I react to Tapioca - anything! Even Tapioca starch in the smallest amounts. If you do make him desserts, keep it as simple as possible...
