I grew up drinking tea for my asthma, and my allergies. I started drinking more for my chronic exhaustion. After finding out it was a source of salicylates, I weaned myself off of it, but it took weeks of agonizing headaches, and then I got hit by a car, and I needed to drink it again to cope with the pain.

Is there any way to get back off tea without several more weeks of agonizing headaches?

I know most sources on caffeine withdrawal suggest the headaches should only last a few days, and end after the first week. I find most sources are wrong for me and how my body responds to drugs.

I have 100mg caffeine and theonine capsules, but I need less than 100mg per day. I will not drink coffee, it smells like my migraines, and I cannot drink soda, fructose triggers my migraines.
