I've quit tea and cut back on other sals over the past year. Some of my symptoms are getting better, but my hands and feet are hurting worse all the time. Low esr and normal crp levels rule out arthritis and other inflammatory conditions. Everything seems to fit a combination of salicylate sensitivity and fibromyalgia. Any ideas how to cope with fibromyalgia?

And thought on "The Role of Guaifenesin in Fibromyalgia" http://web.mit.edu/london/www/guai.html ?

Occasionally I get joint pain that I treat with Epsom salt foot baths. I tend to soak twice in a day for 30 minutes at a time.

I am very confused about Epsom Salts, I'm sure I read that if you are sensitive to sulphites (which I believe I am) you shouldn't use them, but I see that they are recommended if you are sensitive to salicylates.... I have a fresh bag of them in my bathroom and I can't decide whether to try them out or not.
