Maple Banana Slices (Salicylate Free)
1 teaspoon butter
1 banana, sliced into ½ inch thick pieces (or sliced in half lengthwise)
1 Tablespoon maple syrup
Heat the butter over moderately high heat in a medium skillet.
Add the banana and cook until golden brown (about 1 to 2 minutes on each side).
Add the maple syrup and stir to coat the banana.
Serve hot, warm, or cold.
Serve with homemade whipped cream, homemade ice cream, or over pancakes, waffles, or pound cake.
